It couldn't be otherwise. New York did everything wrong, didn't it?!

And, me, I'm waiting for a big outbreak among the ignorant and unwashed here come the fall.

In my part of NY, our vaccination rate is closer to 40 percent. The unvaccinated are supposed to be wearing masks, which is why mine isn't going anywhere even though I am.

Most of CA’s restrictions lift today. I think we’re around 45 percent vaccinated but Newsom is feeding the heat of the recall and our more dipshit regions. I’m curious what mask wearing is going to look like when I go out later. I’m pretty sure the assholes who need to be extra assholish in my liberal bastion are going to be out in force in all the stores.

It feels like Covid is over here in Fredericksburg.

I saw something the other day the early studies are showing only the uninitiated are coming to hospital in bad shape.

There were 0 deaths in NYC one day last week. I'm sure some anti-vax soccer mom can explain how the vaccine didn't have anything to do with that.

The vaccine is amazing. It’s beyond my wildest expectations from a year ago. Someday we’ll appreciate just how close we were to a world that didn’t go back to “normal” if this had happened 15 years ago.

Alabama is currently at 30.5% vaxed. Our numbers are down but in no way do I feel like it's over here.

This thing comes back in the fall, I’m moving to a place where people get vaccinated.

Massachusetts (population 6.9 million and change) passed 4 million people completely vaccinated today. Try here. Or Vermont (80 percent of population over age 12 with at least one shot). Just buy some good snow boots.
