    1. Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, good karma for Dad. I really appreciate it. Luckily, my brother and I don't live too far from him. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do except call him every few hours. Can't go to his house. Can't sit and watch TV with him. I guess I might drive up and check on his horses for him.

    2. How big is that damn font on Trump's speech!?! Wear some glasses.

I saw that this morning and recognized maybe four or five people. It's like she expected everyone to be cheered up because celebrities were celebritying in their feeds. No thanks.

Shhhh! I do it to scare the neighbors.

To whoever... What? You didn't like the baking tips? Fine. Get in the kitchen and make me a sammich.

My father can't attend his brother's funeral because he's 93 and his assisted living facility is in reverse-quarantine.

Our RV park golf league played its last match today. Course is shutting down after today's rounds. I'm expecting most public courses in Florida to heed the governor. Not sure about private/semi-private clubs.

Played with one guy suffering from dementia and another who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a bowling ball, but we somehow went on a eight-birdie run in a span of nine holes to tie for first at -10. Won $6! We did jazz hands to celebrate.

It is unclear here if public courses will open. The town web page says parks and other town properties are open for "passive recreation." I honestly don't know how they define golf. It says "athletic fields" are closed. Do courses fall in that category? It also bans "organized sports." They way I play, I clear that bar easily.

Alabama's Governor just held a presser. New edicts in effect till April 5th:

BREAKING: Gov. Kay Ivey issued a new statewide health order today in response to the growing cases of COVID-19 in Alabama. This is in effect until April 5. Some of the highlights include:

-All restaurants, bars and breweries can NOT have on-site consumption.
-All gatherings of 25 people or more are prohibited. This includes gatherings of any size that cannot maintain a consistent six-foot distance between each person.
-All beaches will be closed effective today at 5:00 p.m. This includes all public and private beaches.
-All hospitals and nursing homes must prohibit all visitors except for certain compassionate care situations such as maternity and end-of-life.
-All elective dental and medical procedures will be delayed, effective immediately
-Preschools and childcare centers will be closed beginning this afternoon. Some exceptions include licensed childcare centers that provide services to state and local governments, first responders, law enforcement, hospitals etc.

Racist or not - adding another name to Covid-19 only adds to the confusion, when there is already enough out there. And that's irresponsible. Hell, I'm guessing Trump probably prefers people talking about whether he is a racist or not instead of whether his dereliction of duty caused preventable deaths and hardship.
