Now I've denounced myself three times.

DQ is good people. So is YF. YGBFKM too. Dick Whitman too even though he's wrong about the Black Crowes being better than the B-52's.

It was a joke, a lighthearted one at that, and not even at your expense. Sorry about your friends. We all (well the vast majority of us) have our sorrows.

I'm giving up on making it work with you, though. All the besr.

P.S. The crazies have never had the first smidgen of respect for the DoctorQuants of the world.

I over reacted, and pledge to bury the hatchet right now for all time between us. That's not who I try to be, and it's why I post here under my actual name - on purpose or accidently, people hide behind anonymity of the internet and say things to other people they would never allow themselves to say face to face.

From afar on social media, you're a good person. And I love sailing, even though I've had very few opportunities to sail in my life. ... so I harbor dreams of stumbling into you at some point and making you take me for a cruise. I'm a good mate who can tug on a line for you, and I don't even think about asking for the tiller.

On reconsideration, your "joke" raises a good point: I believe in vaccination and people doing their part to stop Covid. But at this point, there's no reason to line my kid up for a shot right away.

So what's the right move? He gets the shot (and I get a booster) for solidarity's sake? Or we wait, because it's not necessary? How long do we wait?

It's the sort of guidance the government isn't going to give, because nimrods are going to be hear, "I had the 'Rona two years ago! I ain't gettin' no jab!"

    What's your thought on it?

The last I saw from the CDC encouraged adults who had covid to get vaxxed as soon as they are recovered. But that was several weeks back so I don’t know if that holds for kids. I would absolutely think a call to your pediatrician is in order.

Friday is my 6-month anniversary of second Pfizer jab. Guess I'll walk into Walgreens then and see what happens. I have a Terminator immune system, so I can't play that card.

I'll be surprised if they ask any questions once they see your vaccination cards. I didn't really meet the state qualifications for a booster when I got it. But I got it.

Its a good idea to call and make an appointment if you can. Our Walgreens is strictly appointment as they are a bit shorthanded, so you can walk in and not be able to get at that time.

Go to any Walmart. Your choice of COVID-19 vaccines, no appointment necessary.
