I'm not sure the country would stand for that at this point, not Fauci. He seems pretty universally respected, and we've seen Trump do it to anyone who crossed him enough to know that the problem is Trump, not the people fired. Let the people decide that the president is a direct threat to their lives and the pressure changes dramatically.

Time was I had four long guns, no pistols. Since my eye injury shooting sports have not been viable for me. My home was broken into a few years back and all were stolen, and I never replaced them. I have a couple of hand weapons if it comes to that, but a ball bat or axe handle isn't much use against a gun. I am seriously considering buying a home defense shotgun. I doubt that I'd ever need it, but if I did I'd need it very badly indeed, you know?
