    Just announced we are going back to indoor masks at my school starting tomorrow. I’m a little shocked because we only have two weeks left but I’m not complaining. Haven’t taken my mask off while teaching just yet so I’ll for sure keep it in now.

    Florida undercounted and underreported? I'm shocked.

    https://www.miamiherald.com/news/coronavirus/article262212557.html

    Florida’s COVID-19 data was so inaccurate, incomplete and delayed during the first months of the pandemic that government officials and the public may not have had necessary information to determine the effectiveness of the state’s COVID-19 precautions and the best plan to fight the virus, according to a state report released Monday.

    What precautions, exactly? Wasn’t Florida the last State to impose any restrictions and the first one to open up?

    I’m so confused. I was told that Florida was doing great and that Poor Ron DeathSentence was unfairly maligned.

    You know the problem with the numbers? You can't trust them. I have no doubt there are more people with covid than are reporting it. And it's inexplicable the jump in deaths on this particular report. It's all kabuki. At this point all you can do is try to keep yourself safe.

    The hell of it is, as long as ICU beds aren't maxed out, COVID is considered "manageable."

    It doesn't seem like 300 a day died of flu in the last big flu epidemic.

    [QUOTE="Mngwa, post: 4946813, member: 150927" It's all kabuki. [/QUOTE]

    I don't think of it that way. Just different snapshots taken at different times.

    These are reminders to get vaccinated and boosted and wear a mask.
