Dad and sister both just got it. I think it’s just down to me and my mom who have yet to get it. Shocked my mom hasn’t gotten it yet.

Been very careful in my classroom and going out. The worst I’ve been sick the last two years was getting over heated after eating outside at a restaurant in Sacramento in July 2020 and a stomach bug my kiddo brought home from daycare. I was convinced the heat exhaustion was going to turn out to be Covid because I was not well for a few days.

A few colds and allergies. Keeping fingers crossed. But I have a trip coming up I’m slightly worried my kid is going to catch it on the plane. But he just got his second dose so fingers crossed he’ll be protected even without a third shot.

I tested because my wife tested positive. She had a headache and sniffles so she tested.

    Me, no symptoms.

    I'm positive.

Four shots in me and I mask. Same with my wife.

Just because you don't have any symptoms don't think you aren't positive and aren't spreading.

It's going to keep sloshing around the planet until we reach the endemic phase. All you can do is get the jab and keep yourself out of hospital. Let the rest die 1% at a time.

Is there another, fall Covid booster on the way?

I'm sure they're working on it, but I have seen nothing regarding any tentative date for one.

I haven’t tested a lot over the last couple of years. Wasn’t much of a need with WFH and our daily routines.

Went on vacation overseas last month. Admittedly we were not careful. Vaxxed and boosted. Where we went masking was less than 10 percent.

Great trip. Came home and a few days later felt crummy. Not awful, but I also hadn’t had so much as a cold in three years.

Tested four straight days. All negative. Not convinced I didn’t have it. But I guess I’ll find out when I have my annual physical this fall.

Are annual physicals now including antibody test automatically? If not, perhaps they should. Please let us know the outcome.

I definitely had covid over Christmas (tested positive) and then had the telltale symptoms again in late April/early May, only that time I repeatedly tested negative on rapid tests (didn't take a PCR). I also had tinnitus that lingered for a long-ass time, which I read was a symptom of that particular strain. Fast forward to last weekend, when I attended a gathering that has seemingly turned into a super-spreader event in my social circles. But I'm one of the seeming few who have no symptoms and have again tested negative multiple times. I realize this latest variant has been shown to dodge immunity and reinfect people with ease, but the bulk of the people who have symptoms/tested positive after the gathering all had never gotten covid before. The people who had covid recently are not showing any symptoms.

    So who the hell knows.
