    This here.

Got a terrible flu in 2014, have gotten the flu shot ever since.

Got terrible COVID in 2019/2020, and will gladly get the COVID shot yearly if need be.

    It's not that hard.

Good gravy. YES. Normalize it. Like Polio, Rubella, The next covid (2 permutation) vaccines will be in the next flu vaccine. Several different strains of flu have always been mixed into one. And covid is becoming more flu like. Killing the old, disabling the weak, and trying to survive in the young. And it won't survive in the young if we stop it in the old and weak. It dies with them. An organism doesn't want to die so it mutates to a weaker place. Not enough time to replicate. Get vaccinated people. In simple terms, a vaccination eats the disease

Just take whatever vaccine you're eligible for.

See, that's the thing here, and this is not directed at you, Patchen ...

BUT: There is no "retrospect" with a global, fast-moving pandemic virus. The science, the medical, the information pipeline, EVERYTHING is reacting, adjusting and evolving on the fly. This is typical, not shameful. You cannot go back, in retrospect, and change most stuff because most stuff relied on the science first, the practical applications second, and then the swift dispersal of information and vaccine compliance on a global basis third.

Not much you can change in retrospect unless some big fucking asshole somewhere tries to
deny the science and downplay the medical. In retrospect, that would be a Fucking Clown Show.

The kids last year did Covid and flu shots at the same time. Ours were, I think a day or so in between. No problems.

Any news is good news. The rising deaths, I assume that means the effects of the first boosters are waning?
