I feel lucky I didn't feel well with it (I think I am back). The pharmacist when I got it said the main side effect they have been reporting is just a sore arm. My wife felt fine with this batch, and the boosters at least kicked her ass.

The flu or even the combo could have done it, but I can't remember the last time I didn't get a flu shot and it has never made me feel bad. Outside of the first COVID, which did make me really freaking tired, I have felt some sort of sick after all of those.

I got the flu shot 10 days ago, no after-effects.

I got Moderna booster 3 last Saturday, and it hit kinda hard this time, with muscle/joint aches all over on Sunday.
No complaints here. I slept on and off all day Sunday, just because why not. Look forward to that next time, too!

I've read and heard that this booster is stronger to address multiple strains, so maybe that was it?

Got the booster last Wednesday. I still look the way a plate of nine-year-old gravlax feels or feel the way a plate of nine-year-old gravlax looks or something.

How did they come up with that? I didn't think Florida was releasing COVID death counts anymore.

These were studies of ALL reported deaths, comparing them to expected demographic trend lines prior to covid. It's an extrapolation of extra deaths where most but of course not all are almost surely due to covid.

I pointed this out I think maybe in early August -- the surprising still high number of dead in certain places is going to have an impact on elections because basically hundreds of republicans are still dying every day in the months leading to election day

    Doesn’t matter. They’ll still vote. ;)

It would be interesting to see some true analysis of this and if it does in fact have an impact. It is still mind-boggling that 400 people a day are dying of this.

Got my Moderna booster in my left arm and my flu shot in my right. The late, great Ernie Harwell would call that two for the price of one

And you just stood there like a house on the side of the road when they did it!
