    Cali has their first dead, and it's spreading pretty quickly. At what point would you say that it has become dangerous enough to halt unnecessary large gatherings in the name of public health? How many dead does it take before it's not an overreaction? This is a basic, common sense public health measure. There is nothing that is necessary about a ball game.

    Then there's our local NBC and ABC affiliate, which is hyping an interview covering the coronavirus threat with ... Dr. Oz.

    I think I'd rather hear from Dr. Rex Morgan.

    That’s what they said about the crack epidemic in the 80s and 90s. But since it was a black problem no one cared. Since opioid is largely a white problem people are devoting lots of resources and energy into solving the addiction. Let them whither and die. Darwin wins again. Let the weak fade away of their own choosing ?
