Personally, I hope Oregon and Washington working together will force Idaho's governor (a Republican, of course) to work with them. So far Brad Little's been — by Republican standards — remarkably trusting of doctors and science, but he has a whole lot of Redoubters cursing him, calling him a RINO, etc.

Our state's stay-at-home order runs through tomorrow, and hasn't been extended yet. I'm hoping that's just a formality.

One Washington nursing home was the epicenter of the first stages of the virus, before stay in place, etc., became the norm. It's responsible for a significant portion of that state's deaths. Washington and California also have a significantly higher population density and more people than Oregon. More people/higher density = easier spread of the virus.

This Oregonian has no problem at all working together with California and Washington.
