Does anything define the Fox News/Trumpist crowd quite like this?

It's been a while since I've played it, but the territories didn't split entirely along state lines. Mostly to balance game play, I think. Some geographical areas that didn't have much in them, overlapped with others, or were strategically unimportant were omitted (the Florida territory only went as far south as Orlando/Tampa, for example, and I don't think the Memphis area was part of any territory). So the actual state borders got a little fuzzy.
To give some variety, the game added a European Union faction that took over the nuked DC area, and its territory stretched from Philadelphia down to Norfolk, and about as far west as I-81. IIRC, the western half of Virginia was a dark area not on any map. So eastern Virginia was one faction, and the rest of the southeast was another (called The Confederacy, of course).
The Carolinas territory had the Raleigh-Durham area as its northern boundary if I remember right, and you had to fight your way mostly through South Carolina.

Ohio's association is similarly dragging their feet in outright canceling. Postponed to first week of May as of now. They recently announced plans to have spring seasons over six/seven weeks, with state championships in mid-to-late June... contingent of course on schools reopening here. They similarly drug their feet for weeks before outright cancelling winter sports.

Many have praised the association's "leadership" and their efforts to try to play, which I find laughable. They're cowardly in waiting for state government to extend school closure so they can blame them for season cancellation. Too afraid to make the call themselves when they have known damn well for a month there's no way group restrictions are going to be eased enough for sporting events to take place during spring.

They're stoking blind hope in kids. Should have cancelled weeks (or a month) ago. Athletes would have worked through grief by now and started to move on with their lives.

Family reunions are always a little uncomfortable.
