Charleston itself doesn’t seem to be a hotspot. Areas along 95 that get a lot of interstate traffic are. Still, I’ve been both encouraged and discouraged by what I’ve seen while down here. Some places are taking it very seriously. Others are not.

I'd hit "Like" but this sounds so much like North Idaho, it's scary.

When I lived in Michigan's U.P., we used to joke around that if a certain 20-something Yooper got AIDS, half of the Upper Peninsula might have it within a year.

With how easily COVID-19 can be spread, I'm not laughing anymore.

I have spent a lot of time there over the last 20 years. Perhaps my views are skewed by my late brother, who was very much a stereotypical supporter of President Trump.

Mark my words, if the numbers are where I expect them to be in 30 days the big county school boards will tell him to go fuck himself and he'll look like a big fool trying to pull a reverse George Wallace and open the doors of every school in Orlando metro, Tampa, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and all the other surrounding areas. He'll have places like Jacksonville that will be stupid and stay on his side, but it'll be every county/city for themselves.

Kriseman is the mayor of St. Petersburg. Me thinks he's got some interest in a 2022 Governor run. He's been particularly defiant.
