    Jesus, that's insane.

My youngest is going to be a sophomore in high school. Word is he'll only physically be in classes one day a week and masks will be mandatory.

Yeah, I need to amend that post to "God help Georgia teachers and students".

You ‘but my haircuts’ people are insufferable. Find a new schtick.

Sorry, but while you’ve been hanging out with friends and in bars the rate of infections has been skyrocketing. You know what’s literally insufferable? Coronavirus.

What does that have to do with haircuts?

EDIT: These are two different arguments. Of course going to a crowded bar is dumb. But going for a haircut in a controlled environment? If that’s a problem we might as well shut down society forever.

In honesty it's less the literal act of going to get a haircut but the people clamoring we have to end lock down so they can do inane things like get a haircut. They couldn't care less about Covid but sure as shit are sick of being home.

I don’t disagree. There’s a middle ground. Sitting outdoors enjoying a beer in a distanced environment isn’t killing anyone either. I’m certainly not clamoring to go into a packed bar anytime soon. But I’m not sitting life out until 2022 either. If that makes me a bad person, fuck it.

No, you're not a bad person but I also suspect you were not among those protesting for your right to be served by others and that Covid is an overblown hoax. Reopening with precautions, contact tracing and extensive testing is one thing. Some of the "but my haircut" people that are getting mocked here just want to throw caution to the wind and post fake OSHA mask claims on Facebook.

I haven't seen that plan for Georgia schools anywhere. The most recent I found in a quick search was guidance from June 1 that did allow for distance learning.

“But my haircuts!” Is shorthand for mocking those who think the solution to COVID is to ignore it.

I know you’re not one of those people.

No, it's more than that. Because my ONE haircut 23 days ago has been mocked over and again. Have I been "ignoring" the virus? Well . . . .

Since March 1o I have been to two 3/4 empty restaurants, one hair salon (requiring masks), one Hobby Lobby, one Batteries+Bulbs place and one tennis store (requiring masks) in addition to "essential" places (grocer, bank, pharmacy, chiropractor). I have been to zero bars and zero places with large crowds of people. I HATE CROWDS AND HAVE BEEN AVOIDING THEM LONG BEFORE 99 PERCENT OF THE WOKEST ON HERE. I've followed whatever rules my state/county has put forth without protest. I try to stay 10+ feet away from people, even avoiding populated aisles and taking the long way around to get what I need whenever possible.

    Yeah, I'm the problem.
