I think that is where my wife might draw the “line” regarding my COVID 19 research!

It's tests administered, which accounts for 8.7 percent of the population if each test went to one person. Of course, that isn't the case because we know people like Il Douchedrumph are getting multiple tests.

Of course, there are also people, like health workers, who we WANT get tested as often as possible.

Let's assume this is one test for one person, people are really spiking the football because over the course of three and a half months we've tested less than 10 percent of the population?

Extreme example to prove the point that tests represent less than 9 percent of the population but have likely gone to half that number in the US

But that's my point...the number of people who have been tested 5x, 10x, 20x is rather large. I'm betting less than 5 percent of the USA population has been tested.

And it's lying in statistics. Here's what it had to say about Gov. Trumpfluffer's Georgia:

The state recorded a total of 37 deaths all last week, and zero on Sunday.

Just a bit off. If you count "last week" as running from Sunday, June 14 through Saturday, June 20, the death toll is 196. If you prefer Monday, June 14 through Sunday, June 21, the count is 192. Those figures are according to CovidTracking.

Great question. Hopkins refers to "People Tested" and CovidTracking implies total tests administered. The problem is that the sources' totals are equal, and that can't be right. As Dire Straits once said, "Two men say they're Jesus. One of them must be wrong."
