I get exposed to a lot of country music and never heard of this guy, Chase Rice. Does he have any recognizable radio hits?

ADD: I see via Wiki Wiki Wiki that he co-wrote "Cruise" by Florida Georgia Line, which will set him with mailbox money for life. So sad!

I don't know. But I did recognize his name from my days covering ACC football. Heard one of his songs. Sounded exactly like I thought it would. Pretty good music ruined by a corporate and culturally mandated vocal twang.

Contrast that Trumpist asshole with, say, the Dropkick Murphys, who played an empty Fenway Park, socially distanced themselves by position on the infield and raised money for several charities in the process. And they introduced their song "Forever" by thanking those who have taken it as an anthem in memory of their loved ones. I'm in that group.

    "Mailbox money." Love it.
I have a cousin who is set for retirement because he had a recurring gig as a waiter in Nash Bridges and as a neighbor of Jack Lemmon (I think) in the Grumpy/Grumpier Old Men films.

Buffett has a song about Mailbox Money on his new album.

I expected my Wiki Wiki Wiki reference to get more play actually.
