Now is the time.

And I too don't want Obama reacting as a parent but as the President and I want his ass reacting as the commander in chief.

 

I don't know what the answer is, but I do know it's time for a change in strategy regarding what we've done to this point, which is, nothing.

 

Somewhere there's someone watching today's coverage and fantasizing about one-upping today's gunman. And all we can hope is he gives off warning signs someone notices and does something about or doesn't have access to the arsenal that would let him pull it off.

 

I agree Dick. That's just dumb. The president is a father with one kid barely out of that age. He's human. Even those of us who think he's a socialist can defend him on that.

And there's no damn chance of us outlawing abortions.

 

Brother of shooter has gone from "in custody" to "questioned" according to "officials". Not sure if I saw that on CNN, Fox or MSNBC.

 

I know. But the argument that if you banned abortions, there would still be the same amount of abortions - it's absurd. There wouldn't be.

 

What do you expect him to do? The legislation process isn't immediate.

 

I'm saying that it wouldn't stop shootings, and that the ones who got the guns would still get them.
