dog has influenced me on one issue usually considered conservative.

He's an excellent argument for making English our official language.

 

Almost every post you make attacks the messengers - "liberals" - rather than their ideas. You're obsessed with motive.

 

You can't avoid linking any of them to my basic tenets:
1) OK, go ahead and approve gay marriage as a constitutional liberty but get the hell out of the bedroom altogether. Consenting adults in any form, including multiples, can marry (polygamy thus falls under protection). If not, then the argument is hypocritical if it even breathes the word liberty.
2) Taking up all guns won't solve the problem. You cannot legislate morality. Evil will always be among us. Door locks lead to security systems and then to guns, and there's always someone looking to trump the latest means of defense. And money talks, which is why the underground gun market will become this nation's second-leading industry behind drugs in vices.
3) Spending what you ain't got is destructive.
4) Liberals don't have all the answers, but they are much more arrogant than conservatives.
5) Liberals say they are for the working man and the poor but it is mere lip service for votes. Conservatives pandor to the Christian Right but again, only for votes.
6) The underlying problem in all of our woes is grounded in self-worship or selfishness.

 

Because the arrogance in this place, for a very long time, has been so left the earth tilts that way.

It's that which I base my arguments on. Name one argument I've made that doesn't apply to this rhetoric.

 

Having gone back to check, Dog may - wherever he is, and saints preserve us - be able to own a legal machine gun.

In the ATF's defense, do you know how hard it is to put a laser beam on the head of a shark?
