Depends on how much wages would go up.

Say you're making $729 a week now. If there's a labor shortage due to companies hiring here, you'd be able to bargain for a better wage. You may even be able to get $1,144 a week.

We've been required to register cars for a long time now. It hasn't led to confiscation.
With 300 million privately owned guns in this country, there's no way the government can take them all.

Anyone who seriously believes the government's aim is to take away anybody's guns is being irrational. Half the government doesn't even want restrictions on guns.
