I'm sure they'd rather comply with NewsCorp management edicts not to bite the hand that feeds and keep their increasingly scarce jobs for another day than not only lose their job, but have to explain getting fired to potential new employers who have plenty of reasons not to hire people already.

Love how he can't remember his own name yet he's confidence he is the right person to lead the company through this turmoil.

I thought that this was fitting to post, since the topic of phone hacking is fresh in our minds. One of my favorite Britcoms is "Yes (Prime) Minister" and I've been watching several clips on YouTube. I found one in which Prime Minister Hacker and Sir Humphrey talks about "bugging" phones.

Must have been found under "Hussies, no-talent, '50s, U. S."

    Great pull.

It just seemed to me that she would have enjoyed a midget jumping in her lap...

Just got back from the store and thumbed through today's Post. Not surprised it wasn't the wood, but really started to wonder if they covered it at all. It got the Page 35 treatment.

    That's amazingly, appallingly awful.

Even if you accept that Somalia should get more coverage, arguing that everyone else should "move on" is always an act of desperation -- and usually backfires.

Hey, if News Corp. says we should pay more attention to Somalia, how about devoting some resources to covering it, Rupert?

In a just world, the next plane Rupert Murdoch got on would crash.
