How about some early SCOTS. I liked Mary Huff better in a platinum wig and miniskirt, but the tune is pretty good.

So I've really been getting into Teddy Swims and he's already announced his tour for next year. He's playing near me in SEPTEMBER, tickets are north of $120. I've seen enough clips of his live show and it would be worth it, but buying tickets to a show almost a year in advance? Will any of us be around? Shouldn't there be a cap on how far in advance you can buy concert tickets. Reminds me of an NPR pledge drive - for the price of just one latte a week I can see a concert in 11 months that will maybe go 2 hours.

Aw, shit. I saw that his tour was abruptly canceled this weekend because of health reasons, but I had no idea it was this bad.

And agreed -- "Sick of Myself" is wonderful. "Girlfriend" gets all the love, but I think his "100% Fun" album is the best thing he's done.

Hope he can get through this well.

Bar just played The Stroke during happy hour so I think I may or may not get a point in the Prancing Billy series.

Just a wonderful, wonderful rock record by The Gaslight Anthem's Brian Fallon. Just a great, tight song that says a few things we would maybe never say, but totally feel:

Brian's solo stuff is really good, especially this album, "Sleepwalkers."
