Worth noting that they were playing in Jamaica.

You go, Richard Marx! (That's Rick Springfield at the end of the video clip, too.)

Maybe it was Jessie's girl. Probably wanted Springfield back out front.

Filmed 50 years ago. A showcase for drummer Barrie Wilson.

Song sounds like the musical track was spun on a turntable with a finger like I used to do with my brother's Pink Floyd albums. Not an effect I dig.

New Billy Joel single is OK. Pretty good writing to start and then sort of repeats and repeats. Great to have him back though.

I'm a huge Little Feat fan, going back to 1974 or so. I just ran up on a bootleg I was not aware of from that era. They played a live show at a recording studio on Long Island in front of a select group of 25-30 fans, which was recorded and mixed for a radio show on WLIR. This is the original band, pulling off of the "Sailing Shoes" and "Feats Don't Fail Me Now" albums. It's prime Feat. I'd rate this as about as good as the "Waiting of Columbus" live album, which is a top ten live record. It's funkier and slinkier than WFC, which sounds slightly slick by comparison. Migawd, it's a good record.

It's Little Feat, "Electrif Lycanthrope, Live at Ultra Sonic Studio. If it's available on your favorite streaming service you should give it a listen for some R&B/Funk/Rock from one of the best American live rock bands of the 70's. Or it's on the internet archive below, press play. Good stuff.

Since I quoted it in the Hootie thread. Junior is a knob but he’s had some good ones.
