The best is "Crazy Horse." It's recently been released as "Gone Dead Train," which includes, I believe, all of "Crazy Horse" and a few songs from their other CD with Whitten and without Young. It also includes stuff from the Rockets, which was their name before Young discovered them and dubbed them Crazy Horse.
I once made the mistake of buying a Crazy Horse CD sans Young and Whitten and it was dreadful. But their best hits are on "Crazy Horse," which includes Nils Lofgren and Jack Nitzsche and of course Whitten, Molina and Talbot.

Good to see some love for the Old 97's on this thread. As I mentioned a few pages back their new double-live album is great. Wish they'd find their way up here.

LeBron? And why would he? Are they an item?

  7. d_w -- That's great news on the Crazy Horse re-release. Not only Gone Dead Train, but "Crow Jane Lady" and your namesake's glorious, "I Don't Want To Talk About It," which kills every ballad Poco ever made.

I love Nelly Furtado's music, but right now she looks too much like Janice Dickinson for me.

As long as she's not a crazy bitch like Janice Dickinson ...

    The man knows his tunes.

So I'm going to check into Scott Miller and The Commonwealth and The Twilight Singers. I'll also pick up the Black Keys' "Chulahoma," a bunch of Junior Kimbrough covers. It can't miss.
