If I never hear "Hey There Delilah" again, I will die a happy man.

That song was one of the reasons I bought the disc. It's interesting that it's actually a bonus track.

    Now you've piqued my curiosity.

What track were you looking for?

Gawd, the cheesiness in that song brings me back to my sisters and their late-90's boy band obsessions.

they actually aren't too bad of a band, really. just a putrid song, in my opinion.

A friend says that they've steadily regressed and hit rock bottom. Haven't heard enough of their stuff to make such a judgment.

  6. So I'm sitting here at work listening to Slayer's Reign In Blood disc when I realize that it's after midnight which means the black metal show on the local community radio station is on. When I turn the CD off the disc is about halfway through "Altar of Sacrifice." I switch the radio on just as they begin playing "Altar of Sacrifice" on the show. Should I buy a lotto ticket or make out my will?

Only similar thing like this I can think of ever happening was back in the days when radio stations still utilized turntables a buddy of mine and I were out riding around. We went across railroad tracks at the exact moment that the record playing on the radio skipped.

Second that. I hear the guitar and I immediately change the station.

Unfortunately, last time I heard it was two nights ago, it a sports bar ... where I couldn't do a damn thing about it.

Wow. I'm still a little surprised by the disdain for this song/band. As I've already mentioned, I'm a fan of the song.

As for shit on the radio I could do without, I would put Daughtry and Hinder and acts of that ilk at the top of my shit list.

I'm with you all the way, dude.

Creed was bad enough. New-Jack Creed rip-offs are the plague of the latter half of this decade.

I refuse to listen to Creed's pussy rock. Same goes for Staind.

Bastards wanted to be hardcore without showing their balls.

Speaking of Staind, I didn't have a problem with them when they first came out, especially that first song of theirs, "Outside." Remember that one, it was a live version and toward the end you heard Fred Durst burst in with a "Hello, Biloxi" or something like that.

Anyways, I only bring it up, because the only time I ever hear Staind on the radio, it's always "It's Been Awhile." I think I'd shit myself if I ever heard "Outside" on the radio again.

"Outside" is a great song. I don't have a problem with Staind, although a good portion of their catalogue is whining bullshit. I beleive they are from around the area, too.
