That is a cool site, but I don't see R.E.M. on there! I was all set to watch the video for "Pop Song '89"

CR, I never took you as the type to go to a JT concert. Good to hear you both enjoyed and appreciated the performance.

I've got "Carolina In My Mind," too ... ;D

Going to see Feist tonight. Just found out her concert is sold out.

My sister has front row seats for the George Jones concert with her boyfriend for April.

Imagine my reaction:   :-X

I am going to see Paul Anka in Halifax the second week of December. Tickets for him were almost $100.00.

A little shocked, but I guess he did it his way ;D

Not sure how to do it via IM, but via e-mail I can do it.

Don't matter how we swap, I don't reckon. IM is just one of the easiest ways to do it, and there's legal precedent that makes it OK, IIRC.

Here's my preliminary list of albums under consideration for my top 10 of 2007, with the ones I still need to procure in bold. I'm also soliciting suggestions for other albums to consider.

    Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
    Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
The Shins - Wincing the Night Away
Spoon - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
    The National - Boxer
    Bruce Springsteen - Magic
The White Stripes - Icky Thump
    Kanye West - Graduation
    Ryan Adams - Easy Tiger
Ted Leo & the Pharmacists - Living with the Living
    Bright Eyes - Cassadaga
    The New Pornographers - Challengers
Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare
LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver
Okkervil River - The Stage Names
    The Fratellis - Costello Music
Band of Horses - Cease to Begin
Imperial Teen - The Hair, The TV, The Baby & The Band
Apples in Stereo - New Magnetic Wonder
    Ween - La Cucaracha
    Art Brut - It’s A Bit Complicated
    Dinosaur Jr. - Beyond
    Feist - The Reminder

Well, with new baby and all this year, I've fallen behind on music the second half of the year.

But here's what I've got. In no particular order.

Ted Leo, Living with the Living
    Wilco, Sky Blue Sky
    Ryan Adams, Easy Tiger
    Rilo Kiley, Under the Blacklight
The Shins, Wincing the Night Away
    The Broken West
    White Stripes, Icky Thump

Fave single from album I don;t have: The Underdog, Spoon.

I know I've left something out.

So far, what I've dug a lot - still haven't gotten the Band of Horses album, the "I'm Not There" or the "Into the Wild" soundtracks

    "Neon Bible" Arcade Fire
    "In Rainbows" Radiohead
"Wincing the Night Away" The Shins
"A Weekend In the City" Bloc Party
    "Beyond" Dinosaur Jr.

I don't keep up with new music much at all, but I'm enjoying Jason Isbell's "Sirens of the Ditch" more and more each time I listen to it, and his live performance, which includes great versions of his DBT songs, is incredible.

Just wanted to let you all know that if you have the chance, go see Feist live in concert.
I went to see it on Friday and she was fantastic.

    Playlist was:

-I'se de B'ye/The Water (emotionally powerful)
    -1234
    -Mushaboom
-Inside and Out (changed it to a ballad, but still good)
    -Now at Last
-The Park (emotionally powerful with nice backdrop)
    -The Limit to Your Love
    -My Moon My Man
-When I was a Young Girl
-Leaning on the Everlasting Arms (my favourite preformance of the night)

Really was a great concert, one of the best of the year. I hope she comes back here soon. Well worth the ticket price. Had great seats too.

Radio station in Boston is hosting a show tomorrow featuring Spoon, Cold War Kids, Against Me! and Mute Math. For $26, that's a lot of music. That one Mute Math song has been in my head since the summer.

Damn, that's a hell of a lineup. Spoon alone would be well worth the $26.
