I like it. Good sound to it.

(I'm going to try to listen to everything folks post in this thread to broaden my horizons.)

Sonia Dada. I still have a hard time believing these guys are not from my part of the country.

Lord T & Eloise - crunk rap by two dudes pretending to be 18th century aristocrats.

Okee Dokee Brothers - a kids' act, but damn I dig their music

Had me tapping my foot right away. And some great vocals. Really good stuff.

A lot of people couldn't tell you who Pete Fountain was.
That guy was incredible, and he died the other day at 86.

I saw Gatemouth on an episode of Austin City Limits years ago, and really, really liked him. Sorry I never go to see him perform live.

Late 90s rock band that used horns. I always liked the mix.

    The Choir
Still around, I believe. Ethereal sound that weaves in and out of trance-tupe guitars and straight alt-pop rockers.

    Skillet
Hard rock band with a hot female drummer? Check.
Husband and wife front the band and they have a cellist that plays with them (I must like the clash of instruments).

The band that 'would have been huge' had some band called U2 wouldn't have been signed to Island the same time as them. At least that's what the 77s like to say...but they had chops.

    Gay Dad - Joy
I always liked this college rock chunky pop song.

    The Notwist - Chemicals
Another fave from my college days.
