Must-visit awful U.S. cities

    One excellent brewery there (Ammo) and one meh brewery (Trapezium). Also, you may see someone like Slick Rick at the Convention Center, or whatever it's called.

    Knew a guy (I won't out him here because some of you know him) but as he was about to graduate and was looking for jobs, he gave serious thought to Pocatello because a coach (volleyball, softball I can't remember) was really hot. Ultimately it was still Pocatello and he went elsewhere. It was a good choice.

    East Cleveland, East Saint Louis, East Colfax Street in Denver, Bethlehem, Allentown, Reading.

    I think everyone should see some of the worst places in America. Can't live in a bubble.

    OK, and I agree. But is seeing the urban blight in East St. Louis going to offer a different perspective than Baltimore?

    Rock Springs, Wyo. So you can visit a bar and drink near women who are much bigger, tougher and meaner than you. They don't wear earrings because they don't want them ripped out in a fight.

    Spent a week there in 2005. True story.
