    I had shoulder surgery years ago, and before it, I had written "YES" and "NO" on the correct and incorrect shoulders respectively, just in case.

    The nurses came in to prep me, and immediately were, "We're scrubbing that off." I told them I wanted to be sure they were operating on the correct shoulder, and they rolled their eyes at me and started scrubbing.

    If they had done the wrong shoulder that probably would have been worth a couple of hundred thousand extra.

    Shit, I'd kick my lawyer's ass, given that he was having a bad testicle removed and they took the good, leaving him none. I'd be raging mad at everyone involved.
