I don't know if I would say I care. But this thread has taken a life of its own (this makes post number 318) and I'm just curious about what happened to the douche nozzle.

 

lantern - i really do think owl probably is a guy you or i would have a beer with. i think maybe he just became beaten down through the years. we don't get labeled as "crusty old newspaper guys" for nothing.

 

I'd like to know the outcome. And I'll give nightowl credit for sticking to his guns. Despite tons of advice, he never changed his original post. Course, that's not going to ensure that his bills keep getting paid.

The fact that NightOwl was so combative over people telling him to chill out makes me wonder if he blew things out of proportion. If he's going to freak out over that, then he might be really difficult to deal with when it comes to criticism.
