Don't worry. I think it is at least slightly different aspects of the post that we disagree with. It is ridiculous on many levels.

Some things, such as the post we disagreed with, are just too stupid to argue with.

And we are right. You just lack the capacity to realize it.

  6. Henry, you're overlooking something.

It's not just women that men who vote red are trying to keep down. It's blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Middle Eastern people and other minorities races. It's poor people. Immigrants. Mentally challenged people. Elderly. It's everyone they possibly can, because they need all the ego-boosting opportunities they can get to raise their self-esteem and boost their disgustingly bad case of inferiority complex. It's either that, or they're either (A) simply dumb and naive and falling for the Republican campaigning that anyone with half a brain can figure out are blatant lies, (B) smart, educated, intelligent, ambitious and flat out evil, (C) raised in a family like that and can't break out of the tradition, or (D) a religious fanatic.

Most of 'em are just cheap, sw, and don't like to pay taxes.

finally, a thinking person. the nitwits who preceded you can reduce arguments to ad hominem attacks, i.e, archie bunker dyepack - but they can't explain away why the red states consistenly vote against women, gays, people of color, and almost anything modern and progressive. if someone can't make the simple connection between katie hnida, and the almost irrational hostility to jemele hill on this site, and the hate-mongering politics of karl rove - they haven't been reading frank rich in the sunday times. and they haven't connected the dots.

OK, now that this had devolved into political nonsense, perhaps we should move it to the anything goes board?

  10. That's fits under my option A. The campaigners make them think with taxes, they're giving their money to other people and can't benefit themselves. Of course, with the current administration, that's pretty much true.

The thing I hate most about red state men is they make blanket assumptions about groups of people based on color, race, sex or even color of their state.
