Thanks, chickie. The denseness around here was getting to me.

Can I put you as a reference on resume no. 1,253?

sportswriter, not a junky is the thinking person? Like you, Henry, he can't get past this idea of labelling everybody in the opposing political party as evil or stupid.

There are intelligent, decent, well-intentioned people in both parties. And people like you are the ones who are too dense or too arrogant to see it. Make that both.

if you are equating the two parties, then why are there two parties?
answer: because they stand for different principles. and your party stands for all of the things i listed above. i have to wonder about somebody who votes red, and then claims to be no different than people who vote blue. that's stupid.

Good to see that a Jemele Hill thread didn't morph into its usual disaster for once.

Now if we can just keep it from devolving into a political bitchfest, we'll have something really special, eh?

Wow, that's a special kind of stupidity.

That's par for the course for the person who wrote it.

You don't agree that the most resolute of republican voters believe that a woman's place is to be seen and not heard?

Here's a stat, related to that, that I would love to see:

Of families whose first two children are of the same sex, what percentage of those families with two girls tries for a third child as opposed to families with two boys?

I don't know the numbers, but I damn well know they wouldn't be competitive.

The chauvinism/misogyny alive in this country is fucking frightening.

The disavowals of that fact are even moreso.

Not restricted to, but certainly stilted toward.
