Anyway, this is starting to remind me of a writing class in college where the TA felt the need to give all of us some sort of lecture on gender issues every day. Halfway through, most of the females were even rolling their eyes at some of it.

My favorite day, though, was the lecture about Bob Knight -- how he was such a great coach, but such a rotten person. The lecturer was positively beaming at how intelligent this comment was.

This is the real problem -- that somehow people think it's a deep thought to separate accomplishments from personal issues.

Anyway, back to the drivel -- especially you, henrihack.

dyepack, everything you write is ambiguous. never quite clear. cryptic. even your use of kool-aid - does that mean we're all following a hypnotic leader, i.e, jim jones, or does it mean we're on drugs - who knows? the same thing about all of your arguments - they invert on themsevles - make no sense - but sound clever. you have mastered the art of sounding clever and witty and arch without actually making sense. all of your name-calling - your whole cute vocabulary of ftard and other piercing ripostes - obscure your hollow intellectual core behind a mask of bravado. i don't think you actually stand for anything or believe in anything other than needling other posters. if that's how you get your kicks, more power to you. but you never actually make sense or contribute a cogent idea. i hate getting personal on these things, but hey, that's all you seem to want to do. you simply can't discuss an issue without making it personal. i have no doubt you are a lonely embittered person who has fucked up his personal life to a fair-thee-well.
