What are you complaining about? Most places only pay for Christmas Day. Christmas eve is usually a short night and Christmas Day is basically boring with only a few events.
You are bitching over nothing. Earn the extra money and shut up.
Also, if you are an older guy, give the younger guys the day off so they can be with their kids on Christmas. It would mean a lot and create a memory they will never forget.

So it seems everyone has missed the point here. Last year I earned time and a half on xmas eve and time and half on xmas. why would you cut back to one double time day for maybe 5 or 6 out of 100 people in the company are going to be working both days. I could care less it's the holildays since all my family is out of town and i'm chilling. But when one thing happens one year and it doesn't happen the next it's now missing because you expected again. Fair or unfair for someone who's a poor ass bastard?

    What's on my desk?

And they don't provide us with employee handbooks. Said handbooks supposedly exist, but they are being "updated" and they dont pass them out.

Obviously math wasn't your strongest subject. Do the math with any number you make and you'll one day and half pay and one double time pay will only be bested by two days of double pay in reality. last year i got paid extra to work both days now i get double time for one day and regular for the other. anyone who only works xmas eve can claim the holiday pay, but if you work both you don't? Explain that to me? Fair? I think not sir!

After thinking about your proposal I decided not to have or listen to anything you have to say on this subject

I understand your being upset but it's really a small matter. Be thankful.

.... Or, get another fucking job. Either way, you signed up for it, so it's time to implement some straw therapy -- suck it up.

If you got it last year, consider yourself lucky, since it wasn't required by law.

Bottom line is, you probably shouldn't have expected it JUST because you got it last year. Things can change from year to year.
