Yes, Bayless did. And yes, Hondo needs a repair. Today, Bayless apparently said 40 percent of the credit for Scott's victory goes to Williams. How the hell do you pull a number like that out of your ass?

40 percent of the credit for my supple ass goes to government cheese.

That statement makes about as much sense as Bayless'.

Bayless has made a career out of pulling things out of his ass.

Anyone going to complain today if Ferguson leads with Woods' 77?

Yes, because it's a secondary story to many others (A pair of 'Sconnie boys (Strickler & Kelley) at the top, Rory playing with bad wrist...).

Another example of the sports predic being devoid of original thought.

For a moment there, I thought "62" was the answer to my original question. But, no.

Am I missing sarcasm here or do you really believe this?

Ferguson wrote a scathing (and very good) column a few days ago on past champ Jerry Pate, who's playing this week despite being a complete non-factor on the Champions Tour and the fact that he hasn't made the cut in the PGA Championship since 1983.

Well, Jerry Pate shot the same score as Tiger today.
