    He's gotten better cars, off the truck....but (IMO) hasn't had great pit work / adjustments / strategy calls. May be my biased inner fanboi talking, but he seems to get more hurt by those factors, than most of the contenders.

    I agree JPM has had better cars this year. He's had less bad luck too. And while his pit crew leaves much to be desired, they do seem to be doing a better job this year than last.

    Awful lot of Martin Truex fans @ 'Dega today...oh, wait, no -- those are just thousands of empty blue seats in the stands.

    I'm probably completely on my own (wouldn't be the first time), but I don't dislike the current state of plate racing. There.....I've said it...

    I crossed an item off my sports bucket list this weekend by camping at Talladega and doing both the Saturday and Sunday races. Re: the camping, I'm going to quote Rangers manager Ron Washington: "I seen some s**t!" Re: the race, I thought most of it was pretty boring ... my heart was pounding those last 10 laps or so, though.
