  1. I really, really, really wanna be excited for Bristol tonight. But I am not.
Esp., after listening to the drivers talk after practice yesterday.

Kyle will win at Bristol or Richmond, giving him two wins.

And if his car sucks because Joe Gibbs Racing is off its game?

Kyle in a car for a team that's off its game is still better than 90 percent of the rest of the shit being pushed out there every week.

This year, I'm not so sure. Brad Keselowski is my pick tonight.

10 percent of the Cup field is 4.3 guys.

I would always put Kyle Busch in my top 4 guys if I was having a "who would you pick as the most talented driver" pool. Every freaking time.

Most talented, sure. I just think the car sucks.

Give me Keselowski and Kenseth, you can have the Busch brothers and their 10 Bristol Cup wins.

    I don't want Kurt.

You know, I haven't watched one second of NASCAR racing (though I did watch this week's Fantasy Showdown when they said goodbye to my once and future coworker) but I've seen no practice speeds, read no coverage, no nothing since I clocked out for the last time at 4 p.m. last Friday. so I have no idea who's been good at Bristol this weekend.

I'm still taking Kyle to win one of the two.

Nice to see Smoke politely greet Matt Kenseth ...

    Three things:
    1. NASCAR will call Stewart to the hauler.
    2. He will be put on "probation" for the remainder of the year.
    3. NASCAR will use the helmet throw any way it can to promote itself.

Maybe not NASCAR ... but Eddie Gossage just got a hard-on and knows EXACTLY why.

    1. Smoke knew it then, and knows it better now.
    2. Whoopee ... short of another KyBusch retaliation, Texas-style, what does that mean anymore?
    3. Bank. On. It.
