Of course they are. Didn't we have this discussion in Dover one night? Only much louder.

Richmond is awesome. The night race there is always a classic. When I was in the military and training just down the road in the Hampton Roads area, we'd camp for the weekend and go to the Busch race on Friday night and the Winston (it was that long ago) race on Saturday night. Love that track with lots of passing and the folks there know how to run a race.

Now we get to the racing that I don't like: restrictor plates. The two-car packs are garbage. Sunday's race was 2 hours, 50 minutes of boring and 10 minutes of excitement. Something has to be done. Take the plates off and restrict the cars aerodynamically if speed is a problem. When people can't pass and bunch into tight two-car packs, it is a recipe for disaster.

I have no memory of that. And I'm pretty sure I wasn't capable of "discussion." More so, yelling and then repeating myself. And then falling asleep on the bar.

Just got back from Dega too. Great trip, wonderful weather and pretty nice people too. Hated leaving in 75 degree weather and arriving at my house greeted by an afternoon high of 48. BRRR

By my watch, it's 10 to 11 p.m. and they've got 79 laps left @ The Lady in Black...glad I'm not sitting in the stands, planning to drive 200 miles home after the race.

Did Busch ram Harvick's car after Harvick got out to punch him, or did we all just see that wrong up here?

It's what I saw... Busch needs to sit for two weeks for starters

    Good for Regan Smith.

Hard to fathom Trevor Bayne wins the Daytona 500 and Smith wins the Southern 500 in the same year.

I don't enjoy the drivers acting like a bunch of entitled assholes. It was only a matter of time before Harvick and Busch had a "moment."

It will never happen. Brian France needs to grow a set.

If France ever had an credibility, it will be gone now if he doesn't do something. Busch hit a driverless car and sent it spinning on pit road where any number of people could have been injured.

He'll just get put on a double secret probation, and that'll be the end of it.
