And he see "no black people" there:

And, sidenote for Dan Wetzel...the show is called "Dukes of Hazzard"...not Dukes and Hazard (plus, isn't AP style for a show to be in quotes? I know it's a blog..but still).

Seeing NASCAR's promos makes it hard to argue that they aren't selling the crashes.

Debris on the track with 10 laps left ... shocked, I'm telling you.

A 200 mph parade won by the most vanilla driver ever to drive a stock car. Fitting.

"I want to talk about my sponsors, man!"

Sheesh, way to be subtle about it. If you want your sponsors to get coverage, buy a fucking ad.

It wouldn't be NASCAR without sponsors getting thanked.

In what way is Johnson more vanilla than say, Richard Petty?

  9. You know, the Rust-eze Medicated Bumper Ointment team ran a great race today. And remember: with a little Rust-eze - and an insane amount of luck - you too can look like me. Ka-chow.

That's what the sponsors did. They bought a spot so Jimmie would say their name. What do you think sponsorship is?

I will actually give NASCAR credit for not throwing the caution at the end. The only reason they didn't was because Jr. made a push. "Put that damn flag away!"
I guarantee if Jr. or Danica had been in the lead, it would have come out at the first sign of trouble.

I don't even remember who the driver was, but he had already thanked the sponsors, and the reporter was asking a follow-up question about the race.
