I read nothing today that said Logano spun his tires. I read several that said Busch spun his, or at least hung back, causing Logano to hang back as well.

Maybe I misread/misheard ... but if Logano didn't spin his tires, why would he have felt he needed to block Stewart?

Because he had to drop back to not pass Busch on the restart. That let Stewart get a run going.

Ah ... Stewart said Logano spun his tires, Logano said Busch spun his tires ... Who was on first again?

Considering first is really far from scoring, I'd say Paul Menard.

Just astonishing there wasn't a SAFER barrier where Hamlin hit. A line from a Newton/espn.com story: "NASCAR officials said they will review what happened in Hamlin's wreck and make recommendations for improvements if warranted."

    If warranted?

A fracture in your back is nothing to sneeze at, but Hamlin is lucky it wasn't worse.

If he wasn't wearing a head restraint, he's dead. That was a vicious head-on hit.

That's two gigantic bullets dodged in a month. Can you friggin' imagine if fans died at Daytona and then a driver died by hitting a non-SAFER wall? Nascar officials better not be missing any church services these days.

Not pleasant at all. I had one of those 18 months ago, also courtesy of a crash.
