    That needed blue font, right?

Your post or mine? To present what you did as an absolute fact seems a bit much.

Anyways, I don't really care too much about that. Kendrick Perkins has actually been the best player on the floor this half. Double-double and flying all over the place. Wallace actually let Pierce get a good look at a layup on a drive because he was afraid to leave Perkins -- that's not a common occurrence I can assure you.

Everything I read going into this game said the Celtics bench needed to have a big night, so I'm not sure whether to be happy or pissed that the Celtics have 0 bench points this late in the first half.

Damn Boobie, you weren't lying, 12 points and 13 rebounds for Perkins so far. That is a very nice game.

I wouldn't worry about the bench; all of the starters are playing well. I don't see them getting tired. That's the best half of basketball Perkins has played in his career, I feel confident saying.

They're going to do a story about Hamilton's mask at the half. I honestly have a lot of questions about this. The latest one I just thought of when the camera showed him: does he not sweat? He had been on the court for a long time and there didn't appear to be a bead of sweat on him. I'm guessing this makes the mask easier to deal with. I can't imagine someone like Garnett being able to do it because it's probably get all slippery and fogged up. This might seem like a joke, but I'm actually dead serious. I just don't understand how a guy can wear a mask for, what, six years?

Perkins has 14 and 13 at the half? How did that happen?

Must be the best half of his career, Boobie.

I seriously downplayed the center matchup this series. I said they'd cancel each other out; I was kind of right, except I thought they'd trade 8 point, 8 rebound nights; not 20 point, 15 rebound nights.

Can someone tell Mark Jackson that Rondo is not a catch and shoot guy? he may be right; maybe Rondo should take the shots, but he just isn't going to. It's not the type of player he is right now -- it's not going to change in the middle of the EC Finals. He has 10 assists, probably a handful of boards, has made plays defensively and has controlled the tempo, is that not enough? He doesn't play outside of himself often, which is to say forces jump shots.

And Ray Allen is legitimately hot right now.

Wow, Ray Allen not only has 11 points, but he is also 3-for-3 from the 3-point line.

Memo to the Pistons: it's OK to grab a rebound.

Fuckin' Kendrick Perkins is out-rebounding you by himself. BY HIMSELF!

Wow, that's a great stat. The Pistons have all of 12 rebounds as a team right now.
