Got to love that scene of Pierce, riding the bike, practically in the middle of the crowd, chatting with some old dude.

Why/how is Kobe on the bench right now? They get two full days of rest before Game 2.

Why does Gasol keep passing his rebounds out instead of trying to score?

C's are playing good D on Kobe down the stretch, though he was on the bench way too long IMO. Questionable blocking call on PJ Brown gives Odom an And-1.

Anyone else notice that Mike Breen says, on almost every miss, that shot was "wayyyy off" even if it wasn't really that bad of a miss. For example, Garnett just tried to bank a jumper, it was a little strong and rimmed out. If you weren't looking and went by Breen's call you'd think it was off the shot clock.

Where has Kobe been in the fourth quarter? I know this might be tugging on Superman's cape a bit this early in the series, but all I've heard the last week is the team with the best player wins and that Kobe will take over games in the fourth quarter. Don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning his late game cred, but tonight he's been a non-factor down the stretch.

Tough game for Kobe. Need to adjust to that defense. He was invisible in the fourth quarter. Still, I think this series is going to go on for a while.

NBA thing. Started two years ago. Looks like complete crap.

At least the pregame intros didn't involve the players coming out behind a curtain or on a stage like has been done in the past.

Good game. The Big Three played well and the defense did exactly what they needed to do and that was to stop Kobe. The Lakers could not make a shot in the 4th it seemed. Good job, Boston.

Any chance ESPN told Rachel Nichols that the presser was being carried live, so they asked her to ask a question to make them look all-powerful?

I say the odds are at 80%.
