Nice 6-of-19, Kobe. Better offensive player than MJ, my ass.

I believe its 6-of-20, counting that final, desperation '3'.

Let the referee manipulation to produce a Game 6 and a Game 7 begin, allegedly.

    That was em-freakin'-barrassing.
Congrats to the Celtics for their title.
    Wow, what a gag.

I've never said Kobe is better than Jordan, though he is obviously very good. And this choke is a complete embarrassment; possibly the most embarrassed I have ever felt as a Laker fan.

But let's not act like Jordan never had a horrific shooting night in big games.

Apparently Pierce went to Doc at the half and asked to be put on Kobe. He did very well. In fact, each of the Big Three played good basketball after that miserable start, one of the most lopsided first quarters in NBA Finals history.

James Posey and Eddie House were tremendous assets off the bench, while besides Ariza for a stretch, the Lakers did not get much. House in particular was brilliant.

I never said you did. But I've heard it before, including from some national writers/columnists.

And Jordan may have had some poor shooting "big" games, but he would have done whatever it took to win. Didn't see that from Kobe's petulant self tonight.

Can Kobe just ship the MVP trophy to New Orleans now and be done with it?
