The lane is different and the refs call it different in international comp.

    What I'm saying is this:
U.S. players dominate in U.S. competitions.
Comparing as you have just done is like apples and oranges.
I'm talking about these NBA Finals, where Gasol and Rad, especially, have gotten school.
    Run over
    Bum-rushed

Posey's doing nothing but jacking up 3s.
Pierce has been brilliant. And has torched the entire team.
Allen has been mostly jacking up 3s.
Garnett hasn't been schooling ANYBODY until tonight.

And Gasol is the only guy you mentioned playing more than 20 minutes a night.
I suppose Kobe, Fisher and the rest of the Lakers have been brilliant on defense, only to be let down by those soft Euros.

Man I hope the fans storm the court like in the old days in Boston.

No? OK. I'll derive endless satisfaction from watching the insufferable fucks Kobe and Phil get absolutely throttled.

And I'm checking in for the first time after 77 pgs (the NBA blows), but I presume this locks up the Hall for Garnett?

Pretty impressive turnaround for Doc Rivers and Danny Ainge, who were about dead a year ago.

Awesome photo towards the end of the game there with KG, Pierce and Rivers all just hugging one another.

Pierce would be appropriate. He has toiled for that franchise in its darkest decade, and now leads the way to a title that was a long time coming.

Garnett and Allen are mercenaries who showed up this year, despite some perceptions by fans and media. Pierce is a CELTIC, through and through.

    Gotta be happy for him.

And, Blitz: Allen/Pierce/Garnett school a LOT of people. Posey picks up the scraps. The Lakers need more toughness, but largely because Odom plays with no heart. And, um, he's not European.

Can someone remind me where last year's NBA MVP hails from?

    Nice call, whoever said France.

Stuart Scott is going to need to pick the jaws of Wilbon and Barry off the floor after this game.

Didn't he try whining his way out a buncha times?

Doesn't make him any different than anyone else. Still, though...I don't think he would have shed a tear had he not raised a banner in Boston.

The idea of rooting for the Celtics against the Lakers--my favorite team in any sport as a kid--would have been unimaginable 22 years ago. Now it's awesome. Thanks for shattering that link to my childhood, Shaq and Kobe and Phil!

    thanks for clarifying, Piotr
Lamar attended Rhode Island and was raised in America, I know that.

I am talking about this series alone. No other one.
And what I've seen is Posey not picking up mere scraps. He's broght lots to the table as have Powe and House (by sheer fate, both black)

Don't turn this into a race thing.
I simply said what I observed.
You won't talk me out of what I believe, and you can think whatever YOU want.

The black American ballers whipped the Euros, along with Kobe, Lamar, Derrick and soft-assed Turiaf.
In this series, they did indeed whip 'em bad.
