I feel the best for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, two of the most underappreciated players of our era --- now they both have a ring and their isn't much there critics can hang on them any more.

  8. Game 1, 1986 Eastern Conference First Round, Sixers leading 94-77, the Bullets score 18 straight the close the game, capped by Dudley Bradley's twisting slingshot banker from straight away THAT WAS AFTER THE BUZZER.

KG has now set the bar for on-court/field post-game interviews: hide your eyes, mutter a couple of incoherent lines and then look straight up and curse at the top of your lungs.

I'm still waiting for a sideline reporter who adds something to the broadcast when they're not discussing in-game injuries.

I'm sooooo happy for Paul Pierce. He is the most underrated player of the past 10 years.

And for the record, I don't ever....EVER want to hear about European players being more "fundamentally sound" than American ball players. This series showcased their lack of DEFENSE.
