NBA '08 Playoff Thread

Phoenix choked. San Antonio sucks. End of fucking story.

Well, I guess we can all go home now. The story's over.

 

Once. Just once.

That's how many times I'd like to see the following things NOT happen with the San Antonio Spurs:

--Tim Duncan bitching about every foul call against him. We get it, Tim. You have never committed a foul in your life.
--Tim Duncan bitching every time he misses a shot. We get it, Tim. You're too good to miss unless you were hacked.
--Manu Ginobli flailing and falling to the floor every time someone (gasp) breathes his direction. We get it, Manu. You wish you were an actor.
--Kurt Thomas falling down every time he sets a screen. We get it, Kurt. The Suns are an NFL team.

My hatred for everything related to the San Antonio Spurs is extremely high right now. I understand that the Spurs are a damn good team and I'm not arguing anything to the contrary. But they are, without a doubt, the whiniest, bitchiest, pussiest team on the face of the Earth.

One time I want to see a game in which every player on San Antonio decides not to bitch about every call that doesn't go his way.

And by the way, Tim Duncan sprawling across the floor after tripping over his own leg, laughing when Shaq protested the call and rubbing his knee repeatedly as if he was seriously injured epitomized why I cannot stand watching San Antonio play basketball.

Just fucking play. You all are good. You don't need all that whining to convince anyone.

They aren't based in Houston and they aren't the Rockets?

 

I'm from Houston, Texas. I don't have to explain why all other Texas teams suck. They just just do.

Don't get me started on the Cowboys. It's not football season yet. Let's save that for August or September.

I root for anyone who will beat the San Antonio Spurs. Even if it means rooting for the Utah Jazz.

Yes, in the end the Rockets will probably suck. But I don't care. I will still be a fan. And San Antonio will still suck.

Damn, can a person just be a fan, for goodness sakes??

Let's not get the thread locked here. Have you ever spent any time in Texas? Where I come from, one is taught from birth to despise all other Texas teams. It's how I was raised. And I would expect nothing less than hatred from a Dallas fan. It's part of our Texas heritage.

My goodness, all I did was say I dislike San Antonio. Get over it and move on.
