Ummm ... I think CollegeJournalist's confusion stems from you quoting him after he posted a 20-point manifesto of why San Antonio sucks. He was agreeing with you. Friend of a Friend is the one who said Houston sucks.

I'm afraid I caused the confusion. I was using College's quote to back up what I was trying to say. I SO agreed with him. Sorry for the confusion.

FWIW, I doubt FOAF actually thinks Houston sucks. I'm pretty sure he was just busting your metaphorical balls.

Your blood is precisely the reason you probably won't get jumped on for being an uber-fan.

Even of a middling franchise like the Rockettes.

FOAF was always nice to me in the past, so I might believe that. But in the end I still say, "Go Hornets!" in the second round.

That was harsh Piotr. But I am a Big Girl and can take it.

I have no doubt of that.

Everyone should love their teams and hate their rivals. I just end up having issues with people who hate teams they're maybe jealous of, or "tired of." Like the Lakers haters.

    Be a fan. Enjoy.

Just don't try to sell McGrady as a winner, like bostonbread would.

I'm not on the McGrady train, so to speak. But hey, if he gets his first playoff win, all the better.
Many other players on the Houston team that I like.

Jealous of San Antonio? Not the case. They are just the rival. Jealousy plays no part. It's just part of who I am.

Dude, they really don't whine that much more than any other team. You just choose to see otherwise.

  10. Doc is correct. Just playing with you.

And to make nice, I would love to see Chris Paul make the Spurs his bitch.

    Point, set, match.
There's a big gap right there ... the Spurs may whine and cry some, but they don't normally have meltdowns -- scratch that -- never have any meltdowns.
The Pistons on the other hand, good god -- I'm a native Michigander and lifelong fan and I'm the first to admit that the attitude on that group is ridiculous.

Nash's performance last night shows why his two MVP awards handed to him by writers in their anti-NBA players but Steve plays the right way stance should be questioned.
