Exactly. Celts-Pistons in East final and does anybody think the Pistons ever were concerned about the Celtics mystique?

If you don't see some serious red flags with the Celtics coming out of this series, then you're not lookin. Not sayin the Celtics won't beat the Cavs, but it'll go at least 6, more likely 7.

  3. This will help the Celtics down the road [/celticfanboispin]

Quite a game we've got in Boston, huh?

You could say the same thing about just about every team in the playoffs after the first round -- except for the Lakers! Go No. 24 :). Sure some concerns were raised but it's a new series, new opponent, different match-ups. You're concerned with mystique or whatever. I'm just worried about them getting to 16. I won't believe this team isn't going to win it all until they lose four to the same opponent.

  6. Some concerns were raised?

Yeah, that's a nice way to put it.

What's your prediction? Do the Cavs expose all of these weaknesses? Four game sweep?

I'd love for you to contribute something to this thread rather just tweaking other's posts.

Bottom line, it was an entertaining series. Looking forward to Celtics-Cavs more than I thought I would be because I thought, entering the playoffs, no one would touch Boston in the East. Now, I think it could be anyone's ballgame.

  9. Celtics in seven.

    Do you love that?

It was an entertaining series. Remarkable the splits home and away. I think the C's and Cavs will go at least six, but I thought that before the playoffs started. I did NOT expect this one to go seven I'll fully admit. LeBron is good enough to win one or two games on his own. If his supporting cast steps up they could very well pull it out a la last year's EC Finals. I don't see it. I'm really down on that cast.

Not to say they'll learn from this or whatever you said FoaF, but they did do a much better job after G4 of containing Johnson with different looks on D. Obviously he's not close to LBJ's level, but it has been good to see them get back to playing good team D, particularly with an individual player of James' ability looming.

Yes I just printed it out and put in my wall. Right next to all of my Celtics posters and pennants.

  12. I would have said Celtics in five before I watched this crappy series.
