They traded Brand to the Clippers for the just-drafted Tyson Chandler, didn't they?

That wasn't too bad a move.

I always have trouble keeping those in order because I think they had the No. 2 or the No. 3 pick and they traded brand for the other.
You could be right ... but either way, they could've had both Chandler and Brand if they wanted.

And . . .Garnett hits the big shot, James misses it.

Gotta love the unpredictability of sports.

I wasn't crazy about how much time Cassell has been taking away from Rondo -- I think RR is good enough to play big time minutes -- but this is exactly the type of performance the C's had when they brought Cassell in.

Not saying anything in your post is incorrect, but you could say the exact opposite about the Celtics defense.

Everyone is going to shoot better going forward, but I agree with those that the C's couldn't afford to lose this one with LBJ struggling.

LeBron hits two field goals, has 10 turnovers and yet still comes up a rebound and an assist shy of a triple-double. Good lord.

Count the turnovers and he nearly had the quadruple-double.

Wipe your brow, Celtics fans. You got lucky that James was so horrible.

one assist and one board away from a quadruple double:

12 points, nine boards, nine assists, 10 turnovers.

    EDIT: Dammit!

    True.
Savor the flavor though, 2-of-18 won't happen again. I think we all know that.

That's just a weird box score all around. LeBron goes 2-18 from the floor, yet is a rebound and an assist from a triple-double; Ray Allen scores nothing on only four shots and Pierce is almost as cold as LeBron (2-of-14).

This is one the Cavs will be kicking themselves over not winning for some time. I really felt that if they could steal one (and they still can) in Boston, it would really set them up nicely coming home for Games 3 and 4. They seem to play much, much better at home in what I think is one of the more underrated home courts in the NBA, especially for a big game like in the playoffs.

Great comments by Weber for calling out the Cleveland coach for not setting up plays to get LeBron the ball in scoring positions.

    The TNT show is fantastic.
