I really can't figure out what is going on with Pierce and Allen. Maybe everyone who called for Garnett to "step up" are finding out that the team is better off when he plays unselfishly and gets others involved. I'm not saying that's necessarily the case, but his increase in scoring has coincided with Allen and Pierce scoring less. Or maybe one of those two needs to step the F up. Allen is barely even touching the ball and it ain't like Wally is the Glove or anything.

lol there's the understatement of the century. He just hit a pretty big jumper there though, but I agree -- it's almost like he doesn't even want the damn thing.
At least Pierce is being aggressive, going to the rim and trying to get something going. That's his game, so that just means he's not finishing -- but at least he's going hard.

Yeah. Odd thought that he's not even trying to go at LeBron who has never been known as a stopper. When Pavolic (sp?) comes in though his eyes seem to get wide.

As for Allen, when you see him make a shot like that last one it makes you scratch his head. J is as smooth as ever he just needs to get more aggressive and they need to do a better job of getting him in the ball in spots where he can catch and shoot.

    Apparently that was LeBron's mom.

When will networks learn to stop doing slow motion reaction shots of KG? As TNT went to commercial all of America was greeted with KG mouthing the words "Fucking faggot(s)."

Holy shit! what a dunk by LeBron on KG. Wow. That's all I can say. Wow.

Yeah, that was ridiculous. It could've been a three-point play as KG pushed him in the gut while he dunked.

That was some nasty shit right there.

And I love Kevin Harlan's call...

Quick everyone run out and throw some dirt on the grave...again.

The thing that worries me most is that LeBron seems to be getting it going a little bit. It won't take much and that dunk is the first time all series he's done something truly explosive.

Has a team ever won a title with double digit losses in the playoffs?

C'mon man. I hear what you're saying. Maybe people are overreacting to the Celtics' struggles a little. But you have to admit. Going from as dominating as they looked in the regular season, to struggling as badly as they have on the road, it's not a good sign. If you didn't see any part of the regular season, I don't think anyone would guess that the Celtics were the top seed by watching their playoff performances.

LeBron should have went to college for three years. [/crossthread]
