    GREAT pick by Rondo right there. An another by Posey ... picking Detroit apart right now.

    Man, Detroit is being careless with the ball.

    I see it's Blazer Sheed tonight:

    3-9 from the field

    2 rebounds

    4 fouls

    in 30 minutes of play so far.

    Awesome. ::) ::)

    He could top the evening off nicely by punting the ball into the upper deck. :D

    No kidding! Good God this should NOT be a six point game. Boston should really be up about 15 right now.

    Hurt or not, Billups is rusty as shit. He looks terrible out there ... a step slower, confused, not as aggressive. He'll get his feel back eventually, but he looks way off tonight.

    Nice to see "Mr. Big Shot" is being the clutch player he is.

    That's the shot that makes all of Detroit want to drown Rasheed Wallace in a bath tub. Jesus Christ.

    It's the inexperience.

    Thanks, it was begging for that comment.

    It's not over yet, but Garnett has been great tonight. I'm not sure, but it'll probably take a game-winning dunk in G7 of the finals, but I don't think he's lived up (or down as it is) to the rep of not being a big game player. The problem, and it is a problem, is that he just can't find it in himself to be selfish down the stretch. It's not that he shies away from the moment, it's just that he plays the same way all 48 minutes. If Pierce can be the closer it won't be an issue.

    That's worded kind of awkwardly. To clear up I think it's overstated that Garnett chokes or whatever. I think he shows up in every game, including big games. he just doesn't have it in him to completely takeover in crunch time. An all-time great should have that, but it shouldn't diminish him as much as some seem to think it should IMO.

    The difference tonight has been energy -- and it's quite ridiculous. Because Boston -- who's killed themselves over the last two weeks -- has a ton and Detroit -- who's sat on its ass -- has zero.
    That and Billups is at about 50 percent it looks like. He'll have to suck it up or Boston dominates this whole thing.
