Detroit needs to get this to 10 before the start of the fourth or its looking at yet ANOTHER blown opportunity in the era of this particular group.
Billups -- 0-3 3 pts. Not getting it done, sir.

Hey, at least the Wings are up and the Tigers won by two touchdowns and a safety.

So much for that ... this thing's over. Detroit's season now essentially rides on G4. And with the lackluster way it came out tonight, it might be in big time trouble.
Essentially nothing from Pierce or Allen and still down 20+
This would be about the time we get a Rasheed guarantee for G4 ... can't wait.

Congrats Boobie -- people can now stop giving your boys shit about their road woes ... they earned this one tonight.

Regardless of how this game/series/season ends for Detroit, one thing is for sure -- Rodney Stuckey is ready to make a push for stardom in the very near future. Everybody who knows basketball knew the kid could fill it up, but his defensive intensity isn't too shabby either. Big time ball player.

Rube, good to see someone's been watching the NBA. Glad to see the Celtics finally playing well on the road tonight. They're the one team I genuinely like that's still alive.

Question: Is Chauncey Billips is now the most overrated "underrated star" in the game?

lol I like that. In this series he most definitely has been.

And the C's are finally off the schneid away from Beantown.

Have they finally figured out how to play on the road in the playoffs? Or did the Pistons have another one of their mental letdowns?

    Both.

I did take a little extra pleasure in this one because I thought it was ridiculous how everyone was making it seem like they could not win on the road. I know they were 0-6 but that really seemed like more of an aberration. When they needed to get one on the road, they did.

I wouldn't chalk up the series by any stretch. I'd be shocked if Detroit loses G4. This one is going 7.

I'm not sure there was anything to figure out. They just finally put together a complete effort. The defense on the road had been puzzling.

And Rube, Stuckey might be ready to take Billups job... like now. That guy is gonna be real good.
